About

I was born in Houston, Texas, but spent no longer than a few months there before I was flung overseas and suddenly found my infant self in England. If that wasn't enough cultural whiplash, my parents decided Japan would be an even better place to live (right as i had gotten used to never seeing a sunny sky again. The rain there is no joke). Shoveling snow from our mountain home in Misawa was my new hobby. And to be fair, I loved my childhood, the different cultures made it much more interesting, and definitely prepared me for what was ahead. By the time I turned 10, my grandma had fallen ill and we had to pack our bags and leave our new life in less than a week. BAM, one week I was taking a Japanese culture class and the next week I'm having to memorize the Texas Anthem in Abilene, Texas. (why does a state need it's own anthem ill never know.) Abilene was a small town, and definitely not as diverse as I was used to, but it was where I would spend a majority of my teenage years until moving to where I am now, College Station.

My father was a military man, explains the sudden location swaps. However, he was also an aspiring tattoo artist. I guess you could say i picked up that art gene too. I would spend hours tracing his art and Baby Mouse books until I eventually learned to do it myself. The characters always fascinated me, and I ended up designing a few of my own. Now I myself am an aspiring character designer!
